VIEW PROFILE

Choc chip cookies are always a favourite and these are the ones I grew up with as a kid. Make them big and don’t be stingy on the chocolate.

Ingredients

110 gUnsalted butter, softened
¼ cupSugar
2 TbspCondensed milk
1 cupPlain flour
1 tspBaking powder
150 gChocolate buttons (Main)

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 160C. Cream butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until light and pale.
  2. Add condensed milk and mix well before adding remaining ingredients and mixing until just combined.
  3. Place 2 tablespoons of dough per cookie on to a baking paper-lined oven tray. Wet fingers and press down on each cookie before baking for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Remove from oven, allow to cool completely and store in an airtight container.
