Oven-roasted mushrooms on toast

For something super quick and tasty, these mushrooms are perfect — and oh-so-easy.

Ingredients

6Field mushrooms, peeled (Main)
1Garlic clove, chopped
1 TbspButter, melted
1 TbspOlive oil
½ Lemons, zest only
2 stalksThyme, leaves removed from one
¼ cupCream, lightly whipped
1 TbspChopped chives

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180C.
  2. Place the mushrooms into a lightly buttered baking dish. Sprinkle over the garlic, butter, oil, lemon, thyme, salt and pepper. Place into the oven for 10 minutes until softened and juicy.
  3. Serve hot on toast with a dollop of cream and sprinkle of chives
