Police are appealing for help to identify several young women who may have information about a serious assault at Auckland’s Morningside Train Station on Halloween last year.
Four people were assaulted on and around a train carriage and platform during the incident on October 31.
Police said an extensive investigation had been carried out and two young people had been arrested, but inquiries were continuing to identify others who were present at the time.
Investigators have released images of several young women they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.

Anyone who recognises those pictured, or has information that could help identify them, is urged to contact the police.

Information can be provided by calling Police on 105 and quoting file number 251101/2119, or anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.

Police remind the public not to approach or attempt to identify the people directly.
