A power outage is affecting parts of the central Auckland suburb of Grey Lynn tonight.

The outage was reported to Vector at 8.47pm, according to the company’s website.

An outage map showed properties affected across Grey Lynn and Arch Hill, including parts of Ponsonby Rd between Crummer Rd and Richmond Rd.

The outage zone extended up Williamson Ave and toward the Bond St motorway overbridge.

Vector’s website said technicians were investigating the cause of the outage, but it was unclear when power would be restored.

Vector has been approached for further comment.
