A woman has died in hospital following an overnight crash in Christchurch.
A woman has died in hospital following an overnight crash in Christchurch.
Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash between Cranbrook and Wayside avenues, Burnside, around 10.50pm.
Police said that the driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was taken to hospital, where she died.
The Serious Crash Unit has carried out a scene examination, and inquiries into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
