Cyclist dies after two-vehicle crash in Lower Moutere near Motueka

A cyclist has died after a crash near Motueka, in the Tasman District, this afternoon.

Police responded to the two-vehicle crash in Lower Moutere at the intersection of Edwards Rd and Central Rd just after 12.40pm.

The cyclist died at the scene.

Road closures remain in place while the Serious Crash Unit conduct a scene examination.
