One person has died following a two-vehicle crash on the Coromandel Peninsula.
Emergency services were called to the accident on the Paeroa-Kōpū Rd, in Kōpū, at around 9pm yesterday.
“Sadly, one person died at the scene,” police said.
The Serious Crash Unit has examined the scene.
Inquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
