Video shows luxury Ferrari damaged in crash near Newmarket dealership
A luxury Ferrari has been damaged in a crash outside a Newmarket car dealership.
Video shows the aftermath of the accident, which happened at the intersection of Great South Rd and Broadway this afternoon.
The smashed car appears similar to a Ferrari 296 2025, valued at $629,990.
A white logistics vehicle can be seen lodged into the side of the high-performance car, which is stopped in the middle of the busy road.
Police confirmed a report was made about the incident but said they did not attend the scene and were not aware of any injuries.

Continental Cars Ferrari, which is near the crash scene, said it could not comment on the incident when approached by the Herald.
A staff member at a nearby Mercedes-Benz dealership said they had not seen the collision, but others at the business had heard it.
Holly, who did not want to give her surname, was travelling on a bus in the opposite lane shortly after the crash.
She said the crash “looked pretty bad” and had caused a traffic backlog heading into Epsom as the school rush was beginning.

She thought both airbags in the more expensive car looked to have been deployed.
“Maybe someone’s losing a job,” she said.
Edward, who also drove past after the accident and did not want to give their surname, said people seemed to be in shock.
“What was running through my head is like, okay, if that’s a test drive, what’s the insurance on that?

“I’m in a different world from these guys; I don’t have pocket change to buy a car like that,” he said.
“For most of us in New Zealand, that’s a house or it’s a lifetime of savings type of thing.”
While Edward said it was a nice-looking car, “Ferraris should be red”.
