It’s STIHL Chainsaw Safety Awareness Week, and The Country and STIHL are giving away five STIHL GTA30 battery chainsaw pruner kits.

The STIHL GTA30 battery chainsaw pruner is a large handheld pruner with a 15cm (6-inch) guide bar, which handles a wide range of tasks, from tidying trees and shrubs to even cutting timber for DIY projects! So versatile!

Along with the pruning chainsaw, you’ll get two AS 2 batteries, an AL 5-2 double charger, Multi-Use Bio Oil (50ml), and a solid tool case.

All up, the STIHL GTA30 battery chainsaw pruner kit retails for $595.

But that’s not all - on Friday, May 29, we’re also giving away a STIHL Chainsaw Safety Pack and helmet, RRP $292.50 and $101.50 respectively.

The STIHL Chainsaw Safety Pack contains protective chaps, earmuffs and glasses, enabling you to use your chainsaw safely and responsibly.

The STIHL Function helmet is robust, hard-wearing, comfortable and is fitted with a face visor and earmuffs.

The competition starts at 9.30am, Friday, May 22, 2026, and ends 11am, Friday, May 29, 2026.

There will be five winners: Four will receive the chainsaw only, and one will receive the chainsaw, the safety pack and the helmet.

Winners will be announced on The Country radio show.
